Truth - Limited Edition Giclée

• I am steadfast and multifaceted, like a diamond.

• There are many points to me.

• I am the complete reality. One's version of me is but a facet of the whole.

• Many people choose to hyper-focus on only one or a few of my facets while completely oblivious to their blind spots... or worse, they are willfully ignorant and deny the other facets of me because acknowledging those facets causes the pain of cognitive dissonance. 

• One must be willing to get uncomfortable and to look at all the sides of me. 

• I am illuminating. I shed light on that which has been kept in the darkness.

• Once you discover me, I become crystal clear.

• Some facets of me are brilliantly obvious, while other facets must be examined carefully to see clearly.

• Sometimes I appear distorted when viewed through the lense of another facet. It is therefore wise to view such distortions from a variety of angles to make proper sense of me.

• I have no capacity for moods, feelings or assumptions. I just AM.

• There is practical and real value in me.

• Sometimes I am only revealed after great pressure and heat.

• I can cause profound reflection.

• I am not always pretty, but I am stronger and often more beautiful than realized. 

• I can be presented in different settings.

• I have been used as a valuable commodity throughout time.

• I am, like every other aspect of creation, complex.

I am Truth.

The idea for this painting came to me in a dream after meditating and praying about “truth.” I was the midst of my divorce at the time, and wanted to turn all the frustration I was feeling over the amount of blatant lies and twisted partial truths contained in my ex’s statements into something constructive and enlightening.
