The ongoing Ladies in Bloom series began in July of 2022 as a journey of self-healing and discovery. Kristina spent many years emotionally and creatively stifled. Upon finding her newfound freedom and yearning to express herself, Kristina wanted to encapsulate the feminine energy “in bloom” - the life-giving ideas, expressions, positivity, gratitude and outpouring of one’s own internal beauty once given the opportunity to fully embody her true feminine nature.

Pretty in Pink, embodies creative feminine energy. She is statuesque, calm and contemplative in her demeanor, yet clearly sensuous. The beauty of her very being expands from her mind in the form of fragrant peonies, which symbolize compassion, healing and renewal; something Kristina was very much on an inner journey towards during the time of this painting.
